Tedlar® Port of Los Angeles

Partners: Seaman Corporation, Sprung Structures

To accommodate auxiliary baggage handling facilities needed for a variety of cruise lines, the Port of Los Angeles erected a 74,000 square foot architectural fabric building - constructed by Sprung Structures and protected by Tedlar® film.

Featuring Tedlar® in Salem Blue, the structure is 130’ wide and 535’ long and includes eight 14’ x 14’ rolling service doors, ten double personnel doors, and three double glass doors complete with connecting corridors that attach to an existing facility.  Architectural fabric structures are a fast and cost-effective way to create durable spaces. The Tedlar® surface is UV resistant and dirt shedding, meaning the color will look fresh and clean despite the sunny, coastal, and heavily trafficked industrial environment.

Thanks to Tedlar®, this highly visible facility will keep its brand-new appearance for years to come!
