Tedlar® Metal Lamination for DuPont™ Plant

Dawn gray Tedlar® was installed for the siding of this DuPont plant in Japan 40 years ago. Knowing that Tedlar® ensures up to 50 years of performance, it was selected by the site owners to reduce long-term maintenance and replacement costs.
In these photos, you see fresh Tedlar® film held up against the aged steel facade. Virtually no color change is detectable between the new and 40-year-old Tedlar® film, and the building still looks clean and new.
In addition to no visible chalking or fading, the steel warehouse has also experienced no corrosion, looking the same as it did when built four decades prior
