Mark Thimons, Vice President of Sustainability at AISI, will provide an update on the primary work of this group such as Buy Clean Legislation, Sustainability in Building Codes and EC3 (an online carbon calculator gaining popularity with the Buy Clean and similar programs) He will also give a brief update on AISI’s efforts in data collection for LCI. Bob Zabcik, MCA Technical Director, will follow up with a brief discussion of MCA’s efforts to develop a strategy for messaging with sustainability issues and what members need to know to answer questions from owners and architects on this subject.
