Enhancing the game day experience, Kansas State University expanded its Bill Snyder Family Stadium in Manhattan, Kans., with a new three-story south end zone.
As part of the numerous amenities—and purple, white and silver school colors— incorporated into the new, modern space called the Shamrock Zone, home of the K-State Wildcats, a sleek 26,000 square-foot custom metal façade with soffit panels elevates the stadium’s aesthetics and blends seamlessly with the existing facility built in 1968.
Comprised of aluminum composite insulated wall panels and sheet metal wall panels, the ACM is installed with a ventilated raincreen attachment system.
This insulated system was selected for its high level of quality and minimal maintenance requirements. The IMP lends a monolithic appearance and delivers air, vapor and moisture control, together with insulation, as a single component. The system is a fully engineered ventilated rainscreen system with a clean, crisp aesthetic, providing a defined recessed sightline between panels.
