Metal Walls
Insulated Metal Panel Walls
Insulated Metal Panels (IMPs) are lightweight composite exterior wall and roof panels with metal skins and an insulating foam core. These panels have superior insulating properties, and their outstanding spanning capabilities and one-pass installation makes them quick to install, saving costs compared to other wall assemblies. IMPs are available in a wide variety of colors, widths, profiles and finishes, enabling virtually any aesthetic desired for walls and roofs.

Where are IMPs Used?
Commercial & Institutional
IMPs are ideal for all types of commercial and industrial buildings including institutional, recreational, government buildings, and manufacturing facilities. Projects from schools to retail centers to power plants, benefit from the unique energy efficient insulation, lightweight construction, durability, and cost-effective, timely installation of single component Insulated Metal Panels. Climate considerations include temperature, humidity, airborne particles and air movement, among others.
Architectural
Architectural IMPs have the normal attributes of other commercial and industrial segments such as high insulation values, speed of build, vertical and horizontal applications but incorporate options such as custom shapes and widths, special custom colors and finishes, custom fabrication including but not limited to bent corners, curved panels, and trimless ends. Architectural IMPs offer options that can incorporate panels that integrate with windows, louvers, sunshades or other integrated products to offer total building envelope solutions. IMPs provide architects freedom to create their unique building designs.
Cold Storage
Insulated Metal Panels are considered the ultimate solution for climate-controlled facilities. Whether the need is for manufacturing, processing, storage, or distribution of perishable food or other materials, an IMP wall has the answer. Available in panel thicknesses from 3” to 6”, a wall can be designed to meet your specific thermal performance requirement. Additional features include – long spanning capability, flat and ribbed shaped panels, high performance coatings and special joint designs and details to meet safe hygiene and contamination requirements.
Insulated Roof
IMPs are the roofing solution that provides greatest insulation, simplest maintenance and longest life coupled with quickest installation for low- and high-rise commercial and industrial roofing applications. The essentially two-step installation process limits exposure to accidents, reduces the number of installation steps and materials required and provides a roof with superior insulation properties that can last more than four decades.

The Bradbury Group
Discontinuous IMP Equipment
The Bradbury Group discontinuous IMP equipment is versatile in what can be produced. The panels are formed with a rollforming line to the desired profile. The panels are then manually prepared on the discontinuous equipment in either a 1+1 or a 2+2 configuration. The panel then cures as another is being prepared. The insulating material can be EPS, Mineral Wool, PUR or PIR.
The press bed can also be designed to create a curved panel, as shown. This allows for a specialized architectural panel to be produced to fit a desired look. Contact Michael Nuzum for more information.
